Dr Frank McCourt 1930-2009

The University of Limerick Foundation was saddened to learn of the death of Life Trustee and former Board Director, Dr Frank McCourt.

'The future Flourishes in the green fields of Plassey and the world is coming to know of it.' Dr Frank McCourt, Pulitzer Prize winning author, Life Trustee and former Director of the University of Limerick Foundation.

The University of Limerick Foundation staff and directors are saddened to learn of the death of Life Trustee and former Board Director, Dr Frank McCourt. Frank joined the board of ULF in 2001, becoming a Life Trustee in 2009, and during that period gave freely of his time in support of the activities of the Foundation. His friendship and encouragement will be sadly missed and we would like to offer our condolences to his wife Ellen, daughter Maggie and Frank’s family at this very sad time.
