Foundation Presents Cheque for €16,000 towards Student Financial Aid Fund

At the end of 2009, the UL Foundation presented the Students' Union and Student Postgraduate Association with a shared cheque for €16,000 for the Student Financial Aid Fund.

The funds were raised from UL graduates as part of the Foundation's direct mail fundraising appeals.  The money will assist UL undergraduate and postgraduate students who are in financial crisis and who may be in danger of dropping out of study.

To date over €30,000 has been generously donated by UL graduates to the Student Financial Aid Fund.
